Review: Richard Galliano CD and DVD
I was recently asked to review a pre-release copy of a new CD and DVD, Richard Galliano Tangaria Quartet, recorded live at Jazz In Marciac in August, 2006. Richard Galliano was a protege of Astor Piazzolla.
The performance and recordings are superb! Both CD and DVD contain the same music, the latter is a recording of the performance. Having watched the performance on the DVD helps me enjoy listening to the CD.
